Scariest Episode- Hush 10/10 nominated for an Emmy. Why? Most of it takes place with no dialogue, and the baddies are really really weird and creepy.
runner up The Body 10/10 - No music, just real life grief and trauma. So real and true to life.

Best- Since the show is my favorite and I've seen every episode multiple times, its impossible for me to give that answer. I literally have favorites for different categories (ie when I'm in a bad mood, when I want to laugh, etc). possible nominations for best

Fear, Itself 10/10 Second Buffy Halloween episode. Funniest ending to an episode, funny things happen all along, mixed in with horror and drama (which gives a great idea to how the series is in general.

Once More With Feeling 10/10 The Buffy Musical episode. Another mix of funny, drama, horror and hysterical.

Chosen- 10/10 The series finale
