Musical Trading
What would you do with an antique hammered dulcimer?
I inherited this old musical instrument and the story is My great grandfather traded some moonshine for it and the guy said, it was made of the wood from the ship they came from england on.
Well, I'd either learn to play it, if it were in good enough condition, or I'd display it in my home, in a display case of some kind. You should probably have it examined by a specialist.
As it happens, my husband's extended family includes people who make hammer dulcimers (and also play them). You could contact their company in Seattle and ask for the name of someone in your general area who might help you. It's a small world; they will know.
